Description
This journal is from my distressed layers journal series.
The cover is made from recycled corrugated cardboard, brown paper shopping bags, and colored cardstock scraps. The surface of the cover has been sanded down to reveal layers of paint and collage beneath and to provide the distressed aesthetic.
The pages inside are handpainted, recycled brown paper shopping bags and printed artist drawing paper. There is a mixture of pages printed with lines, grid and distressed texture.
There are three signatures with 10 pages per signature (20 pages back and front for a total of 60 pages in the journal)
Journal measurements: 4.5″ wide, 9″ tall, 1″ spine.
The last page of the journal is signed and lists the date of completion. All of my journals are one of a kind.
My journals incorporate recycled materials that show their perfect imperfections. I use every inch of the material with as little waste possible. My journals are a celebration of resources and making use of all the resources we have available to create something new.
