This journal is filled with my original art and features a distressed, grunge style with perfectly imperfect handcrafted touches.
The cover is handpainted and is made from 3 layers of distressed and sewn together brown paper bag. The flexible cover makes it possible for this journal to expand as more elements are added. Cover has a black elastic closure.
The pages inside are brown paper shopping bags, artist drawing paper printed with distressed grid and lines, translucent vellum, Arches watercolor paper, hand painted pages and cardstock die cut pages. Many pages feature playful machine stitching.
There are three signatures with 96 pages (front and back). The pages are elastic bound making them easy to remove, rearrange, and work on outside of the journal. Elastic binding features bead accents.
Journal measurements: 4.5″ wide, 5.5″ tall, 1″ spine.
The inside back cover of the journal is signed and lists the date of completion.
